Product Description
The Ultra Halo XX0 is the smallest and lightest Ultra Halo LED lighting kit, developed for approximately 20–35-inch RC aircraft where excellent visibility is needed without adding unnecessary weight. This fully pre-wired two-stick system uses high-output 6500K daylight-white LEDs and a standard servo-style connector for simple plug-and-play installation with no soldering required.
Ultra Halo XX0 Overview
Made in the USA
Light Output
Approx. 100 Lumens Each
Stick Weight
Approx. 1.7 g Each
Lightweight Plug-and-Play Visibility
Each light stick delivers bright, multi-angle illumination for evening, low-light, and nighttime flying. The system arrives fully wired with a standard servo-style connector, allowing it to plug into a compatible receiver port or regulated BEC without soldering during standard installation.
XX0 Lighting Kit
Light Sticks: Two lightweight LED light sticks
LEDs: Two high-output daylight-white LEDs per stick
Wire Harness: Approximately 2.5 g and may be shortened
Connection: Standard servo-style plug
Color Temperature: 6500K daylight white
Standard Operating Performance
Recommended Input: Regulated 5V power
Operating Range: Regulated 4V to 6V
Current Draw: Approximately 40 to 60mA per light stick
Current at 6V: Approximately 60mA per light stick
Light Output: Approximately 100 lumens per light stick
Important Power Requirement: The XX0 operates from a regulated 4V to 6V source, with 5V recommended. Do not connect the lighting kit directly to a 2S, 3S, or higher-voltage LiPo battery, and never exceed the 6V maximum input voltage.
Installation and Power Notes
Connect to Regulated Power
Use a compatible receiver port, regulated BEC output, or another regulated 4V to 6V source.
Confirm Available Capacity
Verify that the power source can support the lights together with the receiver and all connected servos.
Position the Light Sticks
Install the sticks with the LEDs facing inward and unobstructed by foam, covering, wiring, or other components.
Secure the Wiring
Keep loose wiring away from control linkages, servos, the motor, and the propeller.
Optional High-Output Mode: Solder points S1 and S2 may be bridged with a small solder connection to approximately double the light output. At 6V, current increases to approximately 120mA per light stick, or approximately 240mA for the complete two-stick system.
High-Output Modification: Only perform this modification if you are comfortable soldering small electronic components. Before operating in high-output mode, verify that the receiver or BEC has sufficient available current for the lighting system, receiver, and all connected servos.
