Vertex VS28 Series 3D/4D Reversible Outrunner Motor

The Vertex VS28 Series is a lightweight, high-performance brushless outrunner designed for traditional 3D flying and reversible 4D operation. Available in 1550KV and 1950KV versions, the VS28 provides fast throttle response, smooth power delivery, and strong performance for approximately 6 to 20 oz foam aircraft.

Each motor includes hardware for both standard 3D propellers and compatible 4D reversible propellers. Pre-soldered 2 mm bullet connectors provide a direct connection to compatible Vertex speed controllers.

Recommended Setups

• Standard 3D on 3S: 8-inch Slow Fly propeller

• Reversible 4D: Begin with an appropriate 8-inch 4D propeller on 2S or 3S
• Higher-KV Motor: A 9-inch 4D propeller is not recommended with the 1950KV motor

Propeller size must be matched to the selected motor KV, battery voltage, aircraft weight, and intended flight style. Always verify motor and ESC temperature and confirm that current remains within the rated operating limits.
