Throw Angle-Meter
WOW A few weeks ago I misplaced a very old wooden angle meter that looked like this one. I web searched everywhere for a similar one and the only one I found was at TW. Now don't get we wrong but when I ordered this one, I had extremely low expectations. When it arrived, I felt nothing in the mailing envelop, and I was thinking it's carboard! BUT then I opened it ... Let me say it's great! Its plastic, made well, easy to read, easy to adjust tension, and "handles" better that the lost bigger one!. Might be pricey, but you won't regret the purchase. Only issue is ... I lost one that was 3X bigger!!! I've already found a nice case to keep this one in! (When the old one is found, it'll go to a storage location!)

Works as prescribed
Purchased to try it out, works just fine. Small enough not to damage surface.

Throw Angle-Meter Tool
I used this on two models. The arms are fairly tight. This is good if you are trying to match the two control surfaces or perhaps the up and down throws. It would be OK if you preset the tool and then try to match the angle on the plane. Of course you have to conver the inch or mm throws to angles. If you are wanting to place it on the surface and let it swing as you adjust the surface, you would need to loosen the pivot.

Great tool for angle setting
Great little tool for checking the angle of surface throws. Very simple and straightforward. Every toolbox should have one.
