Its proven hull design, prepared A-size Mylar racing sails, carbon-fiber mast and boom tubes, and easily transported 21-inch size make it equally suited to recreational sailing, club racing, and organized competition.

Complete Builder’s Kit

This version is supplied as a complete unassembled sailboat kit. The ABS hull and deck must be joined, and the keel, rudder, mast, booms, rigging, sails, servos, radio equipment, receiver power system, and wooden stand must be installed or assembled by the builder.

Build Your Own Micro Magic

The kit gives experienced modelers complete control over assembly, equipment selection, radio installation, and final setup. Careful building and rigging produce a compact sailboat suitable for recreational sailing or Micro Magic class competition.

Hull Components: Vacuum-formed ABS hull, deck, and cabin components

Keel and Rudder: Injection-molded keel and rudder components

Stand: Laser-cut wooden display and transport stand components

Hardware: Rigging hardware, laser-cut parts, and small accessories

Additional Items Required

Radio: Minimum 2-channel transmitter and compatible receiver

Rudder Servo: One 10–14 g metal-gear servo, such as the CSP-D14M

Sail Servo: One 40–50 g sail-control servo, such as the MF/JX 4806HB

Receiver Power: Suitable battery pack or battery holder, power switch, connectors, and required batteries

Adhesives: ABS-compatible plastic adhesive, CA glue, and epoxy

Building Supplies: Basic model-building tools and sanding supplies

Servos, transmitter, receiver, receiver power system, radio batteries, adhesives, and building tools are not included.

Advanced Assembly Required: This kit requires careful hull preparation and bonding, mechanical assembly, rigging, servo installation, radio installation, and final adjustment. Read the complete manual before beginning and dry-fit components before applying adhesive.

Important Before Sailing: Turn on the transmitter before the boat electronics. When finished, turn off the boat first and the transmitter second. Confirm rudder direction, sail-servo travel, keel and rudder security, rigging, battery security, and canopy sealing before launch.

New Micro Magic RC Racing Sailboat

I have many years of RC sailboat racing and have built and owned several Micro Magics. The version ((Hacker) is the best I have ever owned, including the original German one. I like the Hacker NEW MM because it has all high strength plastic interior parts, vs. plywood parts in the original. It goes together well and is fast.
